Body: Please light a candle!
Today, Bristol-Myers Squibb, the pharmaceutical monolith that charges nearly $1,000 for a 30 day supply of one of its HIV/AIDS medications, is donating $1 to the National AIDS Fund for each person who simply visits their website and "virtually lights a candle." The tally is over 800,000 now.

Fri, December 8, 2006 - 9:51 AMI went. The current tally was 999,103. There was also a note on the bottom of the page saying the maximum donation for this campaign is $100,000. So, this appears to be very close to maxing out. -

Sometimes its our intention thats counts more then then out come cuz now they know that people acting together! and if we can band together on that, just think what we could do if we can 10 X that amount to demand that they cut prices on AIDS drugs for people... they just might one never knows!! -
