Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I have any control over what advertisements tribe allows on this, or any other page.

technically, you may be right, but that doesn't mean can't complain. i'm sure it's not much more work to put certain filters on the context sensitive search that generates some of these ads in the first place.
